KBS Cafe Jenny and Carole 2017

Every Thursday morning from 9 - 12am at the Village Hall, Draycott Road.
It is a place to meet friends and make new friends. Everyone is welcomed and if they don’t know anyone they are introduced to others in the café, who always make newcomers feel at home. It is a place to relax and chat and if anyone has problems they would like to discuss in private there is always someone ready to listen and help if they can.

There are toys for the children and newspapers and magazines to read. This is a community café run by St John the Baptist Church so prices are reasonable and we serve fair trade coffee, tea and hot chocolate, also different flavoured teas if required. We have homemade cakes, gluten free and wheat free cakes and biscuits for the children. Also bacon rolls are available, or we can do toast if you like.

Our age range is from 0 – 100+ and everyone is welcome. If anyone needs a lift there and back please contact Jenny on 01865 820368 or 821710.

Our aim is to make this café a friendly and welcoming place where people can relax and be themselves.  All are welcome.

We are friends you haven't yet met.

October 2021 - Update

The KBS Cafe has opened up again and is growing in numbers as people grow in confidence. We observe the rules given by the Village Hall, open doors and  windows, and distancing also signing in, but the wearing of masks is not compulsory just personal choice.
There is a lovely atmosphere with people chatting and laughing  together. The purpose of the Cafe is for people to come and make friends and if anyone needs to talk in confidence there are people here to listen. We keep the prices low so that everyone can afford the refreshments which are delicious!
